RE : Evaluating concerning decrease or increase of the furniture orders in international and domestic market
Following the request to evaluating concerning decrease or increase of the furniture orders in international and domestic market, we have conducted a survey in International and domestic market. The survey followed by 200 respondents.
The purpose of this study is to identify the factors which resulted in decreasing in a significant amount to approximately $200.000 each year in International market.
According the observation data, in 2008 until 2010 the sales dropped by $200.000 evry year in international market. However, the sales in domestic market was get archived the target. The decreasing in a significant could result, the factor could be the market conditions in International market.
To find out the factors which resulted in the decreasing in a significant of the furniture orders, we conducted a survey that was divided into 2 objects. The first object was observation in domestic Market that included 3 island, there are in Java, Bali and Sumatra. And than second object was observation in Internasional Market which included 4 country, there are Franc, Italy, Spain and USA.
After we received the result of the observation, we was process the data and analyzed the causes of the decreasing sales to provide recommendations and solutions that could be considered.
The observation in Franch shows that the furniture order was decresing 2008 by 800 units and decreased by 200 units in 2009. And than in 2010 the sales still dropped into 400 units. The second country is Italy, in this country the order was dropped by 100 units from 2008 to 2009 and in 2010 the orders only to 300 units. And than, the third country is Spain. In this case, Spain has the highest orders in the year 2008 to 900 units, but in 2009 was fall to 200 units. The order has declined to 550 units in 2010. Nevertheless in USA always to increase by 100 units.
The result of observation in Internasional market, in France shows that the market no exhibitions since 2008. And than in Italy, the price was uncompetitive it was expensive than that of the competitors. In Spain the agen’s complained concerning shipment delays. But in USA was decrease order cause less competitors.
In domestic market, the result of observation was different from International market. The order in Java and Sumatra has been fulfilled, meanwhile in Bali has over target.
After analizing the result of the observation, we can concluded that the order performance was downward in France, Italy and Spain but in USA, the order was increase each years.
Meanwhile, The order value was decreasing in significant approximately $200.000 each year in International market.
In the market condirions, We found many problems in International market. But the market conditions in domestic were fulfilled, nevertheless in Bali was over target.
We suggest that the management marketing must improve the management system and more sales person should be recruited to more promote the product in International market.
We also recommend that the company must often follow the exhibition in International market.
It is also suggest that the price of product aren’t far from the price competitors so the price not more expensive.
